Photo is one of the linehaul units that operated out of the Greensboro, NC terminal of Branch Motor Express Co. This is tractor number 7117 and that same truck number would be used throughout the years as Branch replaced the fleet with newer trucks. After this Ford Ht650 they would use first generation Ford W-Series, then first generation GMC Astros, second generation Ford W-Series, White Road Commanders and finally Kenworth K series. All road units based in Greensboro were Cab Over Engine (COE) tandem axle tractors.
