The following were before the ICC as common carriers desiring a certificate of operating authority: H&W Transportation Company of Greenwood, Mississippi; the partnership of Michael & Girard of Uniontown, Pennsylvania; AE Stroud of Texarkana, Arkansas; and James P Hahesy of Chelsea, Massachusetts.
Also on this day in 1940 a hearing was held in Cleveland, Ohio to consider Cox Transportation Company acquisition of Moore-Flesher Hauling Company.
